A Birdwatcher’s Paradise: Bolaños Island

Salinas Bay, in Guanacaste, hides a small treasure: Bolaños Island. Many bird species choose this paradise as a nesting site, which is why it was declared a National Wildlife Shelter. This area only receives visitors from April to November, the perfect months for birdwatching.
