The experience starts with a boat transfer towards a specific point of the park designated by the Captain and the Guide. The snorkeling experience lasts approximately 2 hours at one of the most important protected coral reefs in Costa Rica. The operator will provide participants with all necessary equipment to observe a great variety of corals, tropical fishes, shellfish eels and sea turtles, among others. After snorkeling, a snack based on seasonal tropical fruits and fresh bottled water is served. Afterwards, the second portion of the tour will start: A natural history walk along one of the parks’ trails and the town of Cahuita (approximately 3.5 kilometers long) where you can see a variety of species of both animals and plants. Please aware that depending on weather conditions, the snorkeling experience may be cancelled because of poor visibility and the appropriate refund for that portion will be offered. Transportation is provided from Puerto Viejo, Cahuita and vicinities and passengers will be escorted by a local professional naturalist guide. Typical Lunch is included.
