This popular excursion departs in early morning from San José and it goes straight ahead for about 1 hour to Puntarenas dock in Costa Rica´s Central Pacific Coast. Once in Puntarenas, we will board the Catamaran and sail to Tortuga Island. At 12 nautical miles from Puntarenas, Isla Tortuga (called Tolinga by local indigenous tribes) has an area of 296,52 acres and remains as a protected forest awarded with the “Bandera Azul Ecológica” (Ecological Blue Flag) for more than five years.
