Monteverde, Costa Rica
This walk begins at sunset, since at this time is when there is more activity in the forest, the diurnal animals are looking for a place to sleep and the nocturnal animals begin to come out. During this experience, particpants will be able to see and hear animals very different from those that can be observed during the daylight. Some of the animals that can commonly be observed are sloths, coatis (coatis), porcupines, gray foxes, tarantulas, frogs, some species of insects and several sleeping birds.
Hiking shoes, binoculars, rain coat and camera.
