You probably already know Bocas del Toro, even if you’ve never heard its name. This group of beautiful caribbean islands is famous around the world, as it has hosted the TV show Survivor for 18 countries. There are is a relaxed and calm ambiance on the island, and few cars, since the locals get around mostly via water taxi or bicycle. The hotel zone is in Bocas Town, and there’s a great culinary culture on Colón Island.
