You may also see in Pozo Azul some of their organic plantations, including banana, cardamom, cocoa, ornamentals, and pineapples. They also have an organic garden where you will find the usual restaurant ingredients.

You will start the tour as you arrive in Pozo Azul and meet your horseback riding tour guides.
These are professional, certified tour guides that know the area of Sarapiqui like the palm their hands and will take you to the best spots.
You will then walk with them to the stables where the horses will be ready to mount. The tour guides will provide you with a helmet and a safety and instructions talk.
The ride starts on the gravel roads of the farm and then, afterward, passes to pasture and forest areas.
You can also walk the trails on the farm and see the many species of flora and fauna that contribute to this eco-friendly region.
The horses are healthy and robust and the saddle and horse gear are made with first quality Costa Rican leather.
