Aquiares is one of the most extensive coffee farms in Costa Rica, with almost 974 hectares, exports gourmet coffee to important markets around the world.
Aquiares is also the people of the town, their houses, their iconic church, their traditions, and without a doubt their diet.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed and invited to pass to the beautiful La Esperanza house, a picturesque century-old mansion where the history of Hacienda Aquiares is set.
You will enjoy the lunch at Finca Aquiares with fresh ingredients and created with a mixture of local traditions, native knowledge of the land and its fruits and the proud affection of those who will prepare it for you.
You can try Caribbean-style dishes, delicious salads with exotic local ingredients and Costa Rican traditions such as sweet plantain in honey and with Turrialba cheese and, of course, the Aquiares coffee made in French press.
After lunch you can explore the extensive gardens of La Esperanza, take a break on the placid terrace and enjoy different types of gourmet coffee.
