The Skytram Arenal will take you at a slow pace through the tropical forest, offering you breathtaking views of both, the volcano and lake and the immediate rainforest.
You will always be accompanied by a bilingual guide, expert in the tropical nature of the Arenal Volcano region. You can also stop the gondola at any point, unusual freedom in this type of activity, and that will allow you to enjoy the natural reserve around you to your liking and patience.
Besides, you will be able to observe and photograph unique birds such as the white falcon, toucans of different species, owls mimicked in the treetops and an impressive variety of smaller species such as tanagers or woodpeckers.
Upon reaching the summit, the tram will arrive at a large platform where you may enjoy the unlimited vistas, photograph the diverse rainforests surrounding you, as well as to take a short walk along a trail with your specialized guide.
From the platform, you can see the unusual south face of the volcano, a breathtaking view of the lake, the forest, and hundreds of kilometers of rolling meadows.
There are two ways to come back from the summit, you can choose to get back on the sky tram where the climbing experience will be complemented with other species and more birds.
Or, if you want you can continue the to a more exciting adventure and enjoy the zip line tour of the park.
At the foot of the sky tram, there is a modern restaurant and another viewpoint that will extend the views of the summit and the gondola.
